The term ‘processing’ covers all operations relating to your data, including collection, storage, use, disclosure, archiving or erasure. When processing data, we comply with the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), the corresponding implementing ordinance (FADPO) and other applicable data protection laws (e.g. the European General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR), insofar as these are applicable.
In the following, we would like to explain what data we collect, for what purpose we use it and what rights you have in relation to your data. If you provide us with data relating to third parties, we assume that you are authorised to do so and that the data provided is correct. We therefore ask you to inform the third parties concerned about our processing of their data and to provide them with a copy of this privacy policy or the relevant product information. Should we notify you of an updated version of these documents, we ask you to pass on these new versions as well.
Our employees receive regular training on data protection matters and are bound by a duty of confidentiality. Furthermore, compliance with data protection regulations is monitored by our data protection officer.

With your consent, we can tailor our online offering more specifically to the needs of our users.
Furthermore, we may use your data for market research, to improve our online offering and our services, and, where applicable, for product development.
Finally, we may also store and process your data on our website for security reasons and for access control purposes.

We embed this external content to provide you with useful information or functions, or to optimise your user experience. We do not carry out any further data processing. Our legitimate interest in offering you this content or these functions is therefore the legal basis for this data processing.
We endeavour to use only those external providers where your IP address is used exclusively for the delivery of content. However, we have no influence over any storage or processing of your IP address by third-party providers. For this reason, we refer you to the privacy policy of the relevant service regarding data processing by the respective third-party provider. Google Ads Conversion Tracking

We may use Google Ads in conjunction with Google Conversion Tracking on our website. This service is provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), a subsidiary of Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). If you arrive at our website via a Google advert, Google Ads places a cookie on your device. When you visit certain pages on our website, Google and we can recognise from the cookie that you clicked on the advert and were redirected to the relevant page. Every Google Ads customer receives their own cookie, which does not, however, serve to identify you personally.
The information collected by the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for Google Ads customers and to analyse your browsing behaviour for marketing purposes. This enables us to tailor our advertising to your interests. However, no personal information is transmitted that could be used to identify you directly.
The legal basis for the processing of your data is our legitimate interest in better tailoring our advertising offers to our users. Further information on conversion tracking, as well as general details about Google Ads and the Google Marketing Platform, can be found at the following links:

When using these services, your IP address is communicated to their providers. The providers may use your IP address to link your data to your social media user account, provided you are logged in at the time. It is also possible that your IP address may be stored by the providers even if you are logged out or do not have a corresponding social media account.
The legal basis for the processing of your data is our legitimate interest in providing you with attractive social media tools on our website.

We may use the Facebook Pixel and Facebook Retargeting from Facebook Ireland Limited (4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland), a subsidiary of Facebook Inc. (1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA) on our website.
The Facebook Pixel stores a tracking cookie in the user’s browser, enabling us to track your behaviour whilst you visit our website. In addition, interest-based advertisements (Facebook retargeting) can be displayed and user profiles (profiling) created. If you have a Facebook account and do not wish for the data described to be collected and transferred to Facebook, you can deactivate this function via the following link: facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen

SSL

Due to the technical structure of the internet as an open network, secure transmission of your data cannot be guaranteed in all cases. If you send us your personal data, you do so at your own risk.
To ensure the protection of the data you transmit, we use encryption mechanisms in accordance with current security standards (Transport Layer Security, TLS). TLS is a protocol for secure data transmission over the internet and is supported by most browsers. It uses the public-key method, whereby data is encrypted using a publicly accessible key and can only be decrypted using a specific private key. Most browsers indicate whether a connection is secure by displaying a key symbol or a padlock.
We implement various technical and organisational security measures to ensure the protection of your data within our system. Nevertheless, we would like to point out that, despite these measures, there is a risk of data loss, unauthorised access to or manipulation of data by third parties. Please also note that certain network segments and your computer lie outside our controllable security perimeter. As a user, you are responsible for informing yourself about the necessary security precautions and taking the necessary measures within your sphere of influence. We accept no liability whatsoever for any damage you may incur as a result of data loss or manipulation.

Data retention

We only store your data for as long as is necessary for the stated purposes or as we are legally or contractually obliged to do so. Data that is no longer required for the stated purposes, even in the future, will be deleted by us as part of our regular data maintenance or, alternatively, anonymised.

Update

This privacy policy is not part of the contract and may be amended by us at any time. The version published here shall apply.
