The bridge cue, also known as an auxiliary cue, is made of ash wood and serves as an extension and playing aid for pool and snooker tables. The selected bridge is screwed firmly onto the aluminium thread fitted to the tip of the cue. It is used when the position of the cue ball prevents the usual aiming position with the fingers. This occurs when the cue ball is too far away or is awkwardly obscured by another ball. The different heights of the bridges ensure that a suitable position can always be found to enable perfect alignment of the cue ball with your playing cue. The bridge cue is a permitted aid and should be kept within easy reach at every billiards table.
