Brunswick SuperSpeed cushion rubber – maximum precision and consistency
The Brunswick SuperSpeed cushion rubbers have been regarded as the industry standard for over 70 years and are used on Brunswick billiard tables. They are manufactured to Brunswick's precise specifications using a specially developed, proprietary rubber compound.
The result is controlled ball bounce, a precise and consistent rebound, and exceptionally consistent play off the rail.
The patented SuperSpeed cushion rubber is manufactured exclusively for Brunswick and features a deeper tread pattern than conventional rail rubbers from other manufacturers.
A distinctive feature of the SuperSpeed rail rubber is the thin cotton canvas layer, which is vulcanised into the top and back of the rubber. This construction ensures controlled ball penetration and contributes to precise and consistent rebound behaviour.
In addition, the reverse side features a canvas layer that ensures optimal and long-lasting adhesion to the wooden rails .
According to Brunswick, Brunswick SuperSpeed rail rubber is up to 40% more consistent than the cushion rubber of other competitors. It therefore provides the basis for precise, controlled and repeatable play.
