THE WORLD'S BEST CARBON FIBRE CUE SHAFT

The relationship between a player and their cue is formed through feedback. It consists of thousands of tiny details, all interpreted by the player’s senses: the sound of the hit, the depth and sight line on every practice stroke, the diameter and smoothness of the bridge as the shaft glides through, the slight vibrations the player feels in their hand when the cue tip makes contact. Each of these interactions forges this relationship and builds trust between the player and their cue. Taking these factors into account, Cuetec set out to develop the completely new line of Cynergy carbon fibre composite cue shafts.

“If I can’t feel it, I can’t use it,” was one of the first things five-time U.S. Open 9-Ball Champion Shane Van Boening said when we began talking about the development of Cynergy. Shane was right. Over the last ten years, the focus has been on percentages and equations to reduce deflection. Feel and the transmission of information to the player have been neglected.

Taking Shane’s comments into account, the engineers at Cuetec began developing a unique solution that utilises the benefits of advanced carbon fibre manufacturing technology without compromising the feedback and feel that players have long associated with maple shafts. We are proud to say that, after more than a year of testing countless prototypes, the fruits of this work have arrived in the Cynergy 12.5 shafts. Shafts designed to enhance the connection between the player and their cue, with the added benefits of carbon fibre technology.
