A golden Robertson Golden Multi leather tip trimmer is used to shape the tip of a pool or snooker cue. The tool has two grinding grooves and is engraved with ‘Multi Functional Cue Tip Trimmer’. The leather tip is pressed into one of the grooves.

A well-known and popular leather trimmer is the Robertson “Golden Multi”. This compact tool, approximately 9 cm long, combines five functions in one streamlined unit, covering every aspect of leather work. The precision-crafted aluminium tool features a recess on both the front and back, each fitted with sandpaper and shaped to the radius of a 20p and a 10p coin respectively. This allows you to trim the tip of a pool or snooker cue to the perfect, slightly rounded shape.
On the top is a wear-resistant embossed round surface that can be used to slightly roughen or emboss the leather. The sandpaper-covered outer surfaces of the lower prong are used to sand down any excess leather. The tapered shape of the prong allows you to harden and seal the leather edge by rotating it. The Golden Multi-Tool is suitable for pool and snooker leather.
