The Blade 6 Dual Core utilises the dual-core technology patented by Winmau. The two layers of sisal, compressed to different densities, ensure a seamless, clearly visible playing surface and higher scores.
The inner core is pressed to a particularly high density. This increases the resistance beneath the surface, thereby absorbing excess kinetic energy and improving the durability of the dartboard.
The outer sisal layer is less densely compressed. This ensures reduced surface resistance and thus easier penetration of the darts with a lower bounce rate.
The Blade 6’s pioneering wiring features the latest Density Control™ wire, which ensures optimal fibre density and improved dart retention in the double, triple and bullseye zones.
The ultra-thin wire at a 60° angle directs the darts into the target area and significantly reduces the number of bounces.
The bullseye and outer bull feature a wire that is 25% thinner than that of the Blade 5, creating an even larger scoring area in the bullseye and making it easier to achieve higher scores.
Another key selling point is the quality of the sisal used. Winmau uses the finest African sisal for its dartboards. The high quality of the sisal fibres, as well as the rotating number ring (regular rotation of the board helps distribute wear and tear more evenly), guarantee a particularly long lifespan for the board.
Assembly is also incredibly simple, so you can start playing within minutes. The Blade 6 Dual Core is also equipped with the easy-to-adjust Rota-Lock mounting system. The three levelling wheels allow you to adjust the board perfectly, even on uneven walls!
